Details: 1787年生于Versailles，以“Gand Père”闻名，最初跟随父亲Charles Michel工作，1802年在巴黎给Nicolas Lupot当过学徒，1806年回到父亲的工作室，并于1810年成立了自己的工作室。1820年，买下了Koliker的所有权。与Lupot的女儿结婚，并于1824年继承了他的事业。1845年，Charles François去世。
