François Lupot II 生于Orleans，师从父亲Francois I，杰出制琴师Nicolas Lupot的弟弟。他早期的作品带有明显的Tourte 特征，并且好像还在巴黎为Leonard Tourte 工作过。1815年，在巴黎成立自己的工作室，并很快因他的高品质琴弓而名声大振。
