Details: Jean Adam(1823~1869)，法国制弓大师，也是一般俗称的Grand Adam(这是为了不与他同样名为Jean Adam的祖父混淆)。
Jean生于1823年法国的Mirecourt。Grand Adam一开始在他父亲Jean Dominique Adam底下学习，直到1842年他到巴黎Jean Baptiste Vuillaume的工作室工作。他大部分的作品受到他的父亲，也可能是Joseph Fonclause的影响。他在巴黎的期间是很重要的一段时期，本来他的事业已经达到高峰，有着大好的前途，但他却选择在1853年回到故乡Mirecourt开设自己的工作室，并制作了大量的作品。他的作品个人风格相当强烈。很可惜的是，他很早就过世，死于1869年，享年46岁，然而他的作品量还算大量，所以现今还是可以发现许多他优秀的作品。

Details: Son of Jean Adam. Probably arenticed to his father around 1807-1810, and became his father\'s aistant. He produced good quality work in the style of Etiee Pajeot, although his output was limited. His bows are stamped \'Adam\'.Some bows before 1842 were made in collaboration with his son, Jean Grand Adam.
