Ricardo C. Grisales’
Ricardo Carrasquilla Grisales was born in Colombia on May 25th, 1980.
In 1998 he graduates from high school and between 1998 and 2000 he commits himself to different cultural activities like dance, music and plastic art. When he is twenty he decides to come to Italy in order to become a violinmaker, following the example of his uncle, Giorgio Grisales.
In 2000 he attends the International Violinmaking School in Parma under Master Renato Scrollavezza’s direction; he takes the degree in 2003, he is member of the Associazione Liutai Parmensi and he specializes in Cremona by working at his uncle’s workshop, where he can improve and deepen his knowledge of such a marvellous art as violinmaking.
He attends several courses and seminars about the restoration and set-up of bowed instruments. In 2003 he takes part into the Triennial Competition and his instrument is published in the catalogue.
He draws inspiration from the classical models of the Cremonese School and his own instruments are very appreciated all over the world, especially in the East.
He is still supporting his uncle Giorgio at Grisales workshop in the centre of Cremona, where he is the head of the workshop, and he also has cooperated in writing the monographs about Garimberti and Ornati.
Since 2009 he has been member of Associazione Liutaria Italiana "ALI".
Ricardo C. Grisales’

2000年,他進入Parma製琴學院就讀,師事於Renato Scrollavezza,於2003年畢業,身為Associazione Liutai Parmensi一份子的他,同時也在叔叔位於Cremona的工作室精進自己的技藝,至此他對製琴有了更深一層的了解。
他參加過幾場關於提琴修復和提琴組裝的研討會,2003年時他參加Triennial Competition而他的作品也被刊登在目錄上。
他的靈感來自Cremonese School的傳統模型,作品在世界各地都獲得讚賞,特別是在東方。
目前他仍然在他叔叔位於Cremona的工作室中工作,擔任工作室的負責人,同時他也合作撰寫Garimberti和Ornati的專題著作。
2009年時,他成為Associazione Liutaria Italiana的一員
