Details: 师从父亲Hammig，Wilhelm August，1838年出生于Markneukirchen，1850年开始在Berlin为Carl Grimm工作；后来去了Amsterdam ，1864年回到出生地，在此期间制作了许多小提琴，充分显示了他神奇的双手。最后于1875年定居在Leipzig，作品因工艺优秀在Dresden, Milan, Halle, London获奖。1924年儿子Hermann 接手生意，1925年去世。
