Amedee Dominique，祖父Dominique Benoit是制琴师，Amedee 1890年生于Mirecourt ，师从Bazin,Gustav，曾在Brussels的Darche 工作室工作过，1920年在自己的家乡成立工作室，他的作品很快闻名于世，主要模仿克雷蒙纳古琴风格。

Amedee Dominique 于1960年2月1日在Mirecourt 逝世。

他桃李满天下，有 Charles Rene Bazin, Jacques Camurat, Cortenaar John, Jean and Robert Fritsch, Jules Blaise, Andre Granier, Jacques and Alfred Eugene Holder, Robert Justel, Lotte Michel Arnaud Louvois, Millant Bernard, Auguste Mouchot, Parrenin Jean, Jean Petitcolas, Jules Robelus, Pierre Vogelweith, Rambert Würlizer, Aubry Victor ,Pierre Claudot , Philippe Coornaert, Robert Flajolet, William Mönig, Rene Morel, Rene Quenoil, Jean Striebig Vatelot Etienne Marcel Voirin等。

Details: Jean Adam(1823~1869)，法国制弓大师，也是一般俗称的Grand Adam(这是为了不与他同样名为Jean Adam的祖父混淆)。
Jean生于1823年法国的Mirecourt。Grand Adam一开始在他父亲Jean Dominique Adam底下学习，直到1842年他到巴黎Jean Baptiste Vuillaume的工作室工作。他大部分的作品受到他的父亲，也可能是Joseph Fonclause的影响。他在巴黎的期间是很重要的一段时期，本来他的事业已经达到高峰，有着大好的前途，但他却选择在1853年回到故乡Mirecourt开设自己的工作室，并制作了大量的作品。他的作品个人风格相当强烈。很可惜的是，他很早就过世，死于1869年，享年46岁，然而他的作品量还算大量，所以现今还是可以发现许多他优秀的作品。

Details: Born 1875. Joined the firm of Thibouville-Lamy at Mirecourt, 1890. Became codirector with Acoulon, 1908. Died 1928. Contributed much to the prosperity of the firm. Officer of Public Instruction, Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, 1923. Two grades of violins bear his name - Amati and Stradivarius models - £20 and £25 (1920). Excellent workmanship: corners rather too prominent. Scroll sometimes with overdone black rims. Red oil varnish, thick and tending to slight transparency. Tonal quality of considerable sonority and reasonable homogeneity.
’Cellos for soloists - Amati model - 40 guineas.
