I was born in 1971 in Nowy Targ. Yet at the primary school, I knew what I would to do during my adult life, namely build instruments from the lute family. To fulfill my dreams, I started to attend Antoni Kenar State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zakopane and learnt in the violin makers class. I graduated from this school in 1991.
During my studies, I built a classical guitar, a violin, and, as a diploma instrument a 3/4 size cello, for which I received grade very good with distinction, and I was granted the diploma of fine art technician specializing in the art of violin making. After graduation, I started training at my uncle's workshop in Cracow, where my uncle Jan Pawlikowski is a well-known violin maker, and this training provided me with thought professional knowledge.
Since 1995, I have run my own violin workshop, where such instruments as violins, violas and cellos are manufactured. My instruments are custom-made. They can be found in such countries as: Spain, Italy, Taiwan, the U.S.A. and Poland.
Since 2000, I am a member of the Polish Union of Artist Violin Makers.
I attend a variety of violin maker seminars where we share experience with Polish and foreign violin maker colleagues.
I have taken part in a number of national and international contests.
