I was born on January 5 , 1979 . in Poznan. In 1986 . I started teaching at the State Primary School of Music . H. Wieniawski in Poznan in violin . In 1992 . I started learning violin making , first in the studio of my father Anthony Groat , and since 1994 at the State College of Music . In 1998 . I began my studies under the guidance of prof. Andrew paws at the Academy of Music in Poznan. In 2003, I got a degree and a Master of Arts in the field of violin-making by presenting artistic cello , baroque bow and a work entitled " Cello in the works of Domenico Montagnana and other representatives of the Venetian school of the eighteenth century." Since 2003, I am a teacher of violin making in Poznan Comprehensive Secondary Music School in Poznan.
I have participated in many competitions, national and international violin-making , including in Baltimore, Cremona , Dolny Kubin , Paris , Poznan, Manchester , Moscow , Mittenwald .
Since 1999 I am a member of the Polish Violin Makers , and since 2006 the American Association of Violin Makers ( Violin Society of America ) .
Between 2003 and 2007 I was a scholar of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts .
I built about 45 instruments, including violins, violas , cellos and historical instruments such as the Baroque violin and viola da gamba .
