Detail Introduction

Born in 1953， Mr. Xu was a professional bassist， having graduated 1982 from the Fujian Arts Academy. He studied violin making 1992-93 in Shanghai under Prof. Hua Tian-Ren. He placed 11 th at the 1993 Mittenwald Violin Making Competition. He obtained a CM for violin workmanship at the 1996 11 th VSA competition. He is principal bassist with Fujian Symphony and associate luthier. Mr. Xu is also a nationally ranked distinguished artist. Member， China Violin Makers' Association. MemberVSA.
