Born in 1955， he was advised by Zheng Quan in 1991 which helped him to gain even more insight into the art of luthiery. He obrained a CM for violin tone at the 1998 VSA competition. Proprietor of Chang An Xian's Violin Shop in Shi-jia-zhuang， Hebei Province. Member， China Violin Makers' Association. Member， Universal Strings Society of America.
