Born 1937， beginning in 1955 a staff member of Felicity Instrument Factory where he worked until retirement. He concentrated on cello making starting 1966. Even in retirement， he continues cello making. An invited guest at 2001 Manchster International Cello Festival. His cellos are played by artists such as Bernard Greenhouse， Aisling Drury Byren， and James Fittz. Mmember， China Violin Makers' Association.
