Detail Introduction

Paolo Sorgentone was born in Roseto degli Abruzzi (Teramo) on June 26th,1961. He moved to Cremona and study in International Violin Making School when he was 17. Got his diploma in 1982 under Francesco Bissolotti's supervision. Then he moved to Gaiole in Tucany, and started a workshop with Guust Francois、Paolo Stucchi and Jens Norskov Hansen, contributing himself in violin making. In 1986, he moved to Florence, and expanded to repair and make antique looking violin and baroque. He has made over 140 violins, viola, cello and double bass.
