1975年进入 Cremona Violin School学习，跟随 Giorgio Scolari 和Gio Batta Morassi 学习了四年。1979-1981年间，他在巴黎学习乐器修复，还跟 J. - F. Raffin 学习琴弓修复。

1979 Simone Fernando Sacconi price to triennial contest Cremona violin.
1982: Certificate of Merit for a violin at international violin competitions of the Violin Society of America in Salt Lake City .
1983 : Silver medal and second prize in the international Sofia violin and second prize in the international Kassel viola .
